• MULTI BASE CONSTRUCTION PAO for thermal stability and viscosity index under sustained heat. Ester for polarity, so the film stays bonded to metal when the oil is heat soaked. Alkylated naphthalene for deposit control at high temperature. Single base oils lean on viscosity modifier to hold grade, and that polymer is the first thing to give up when the oil sits at 280F lap after lap.
